Cracked Cornstarch cookies

Ingredients:
1 egg
Half a cup vegetable oil
150g butter (kept at room temperature)
One cup all purpose flour
One cup powdered sugar
3 cups cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
11g baking powder
Instructions:
1-In a bowl mix the egg with oil, vanilla extract and powdered sugar.
2- Add butter to the mixture and combine until well incorporated.
3- Add flour, cornstarch and baking powder. Work the dough for 10-15 minutes or until you get a tender smooth texture.
4- Preheat your oven to 170 C.
5-Make small balls with the dough and put them on your baking pan covered with a parchment paper.
6-Bake the cookies for 15 minutes or until they take a light golden color and crack on top.
7-Let them cool down for a while before serving.
