Semolina Cookies

Ingredients :


200g semolina 70ml milk 30ml melted butter and oil 8g baking powder 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon orange zest 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract For garnish: 2 tablespoons of semolina 3 tablespoons of sugar


Instructions:


1-Mix the dry Ingredients, semolina, baking powder and orange zest. Stir to combine.


2-Add milk, vanilla extract, melted butter and oil. Using your hand, mix the wet ingredients with the dry until a wet sandy-textured dough forms.


3- Leave the dough to rest about 10 minutes.


4-Cover a baking pan with parchment paper.


5- In a bowl mix semolina and sugar (garnish). Portion the dough into smooth large balls and roll them in the semolina and sugar mixture then place them on the baking pan.


6- Preheat your oven to 350F (180 C).


7- Bake the cookies for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.


8-Once the cookies are done, allow them to cool for a while on the baking pan before moving them to the serving plate.
